The Royals were up 2-0 in the series and the Blue Jays battled back and now Kansas City leads 3-2 heading into Game 6. Toronto has held tight after coming back from 2-0 against the Rangers in the previous series and they won 7-1 in Game 5 on Wednesday to close the gap. David Price comes in looking for his first victory in the postseason and he comes in after allowing five runs in one inning in Game 2 after shutting down the Royals for the first part of the game.

Ventura comes in after putting up three runs on eight hits in his start in that game and now the two will duel again. The Blue Jays have been coming from behind for the postseason and they won three games in a row against the Rangers to make it happen. The team lost the first two games in Kansas City and now the series shifts back to KC. The Royals have played well at home and have only lost two of the past eight games at Kauffman, which can get as loud as any park in the league.

The Blue Jays did not hit any home runs in KC and they had four in Toronto and now the team is hoping to get some power coming back to KC. Price has Cy Young level talent, but he has not been able to get it done in the playoffs and he will be looking to end his streak for a win. Price has gone 0-7 in his career and this is one milestone he would like to get done and that would allow the team to stay alive in the series.

The Royals have gone 4-1 at home this postseason and they are looking to get another win that would clinch their second straight pennant. The team has outscored opponents by 10 runs at home in those games and now the team is hoping Ventura can get things done against Price. These two teams previously played in the ALCS back in 1985 and now the Royals are hoping to get things done again, as the team won the World Series after winning that battle.
