Detroit Lions
Calvin Johnson (Wide Receiver): Calvin Johnson was stuck in a very lifeless Lions offense for most of the game. He only caught 5 out of 10 targets for 85 yards and suffered an ankle injury towards the end of the game. It looked like he would be able to keep playing if the game was actually important at that point and not a rout. Monitor Johnson as the week goes on.
Eric Ebron (Tight End): Ebron was nowhere to be found this week as he was stuck in a very slow offense. Ebron only caught 3 out of his 5 targets for 22 yards. With Brandon Pettigrew back in the lineup Ebron has taken a step back in targets.
Ameer Abdullah/Joique Bell/ Theo Riddick (Running Backs): Abdullah is worth dropping in most leagues as he was only given 1 carry for 3 yards and failed to haul in his 2 targets. Bell was only slightly better carrying the ball 7 times for 56 yards and failed to catch his only target. Riddick was the primary passing down back who had 5 carries for 17 yards and caught 6 out of 7 targets for 30 yards. The Lions backfield is one to stay away from as we enter the second half of the season.
Kansas City Chiefs
Jeremy Maclin (Wide Receiver): Maclin was having a slow day until he found his way into the end zone for a touchdown. Maclin would finish the day with 35 yards and caught 3 out of 5 of his targets.
Charcandrick West (Running Back): West looked like a starting running back in this game as he got 20 carries and gained 97 yards. He also punched his way into the end zone for a touchdown and caught 4 out of 6 targets for 25 yards.
Travis Kelce (Tight End): Kelce managed to have a pretty productive game from the field. Kelce hauled in 6 of 8 targets for 49 yards and a touchdown.
