Sam Allardyce returns to his old club, as Alan Pardew looks to try and get one over his former team in what promises to be a cracking game between Newcastle United and West Ham.
Pardew, after overseeing a comeback draw against Club Brugge in the Europa League, will want his side to pick up all three points against West Ham in their English Premier League game at St James' Park, while Allardyce will have a point or two to prove.
West Ham players Kevin Nolan and Andy Carroll will also make a return to their old club, while Demba Ba will line up against his former team.
Both teams are locked close together in the Premier League table, with just a point separating the two sides. The Hammers are ninth with 15 points with the Magpies a point and place below them.
Asked if he feels there is an extra edge to the match, Allardyce replied: "No, not for me. Those days are long gone. They happened when I got the Blackburn job and Newcastle came to Blackburn. After that they got relegated, so I didn't meet them again until we (Blackburn) went up to Newcastle and played them.
"Next time we met them, I got sacked by Blackburn. It's all gone. There has been a lot of water under the bridge since then. It's far more important for Kevin and Andy than it is for me. Life moves on. I don't live in the past. I can only look to the future as best I can.
"It's a piece of history in my career that didn't quite work out as well as I'd liked it to. For me, it wasn't me getting bad results at Newcastle -- it was a change of ownership and a decision made at the time that they wanted their own man in.
"I accepted that at the time and since that time has drifted by, I have no animosity towards Newcastle United at all."
Pardew said his team are desperate to pick up a win. "Of course we want to win, we are desperate for a win," he said. "We've played really well this year but drawn perhaps two games too many, which should have been wins.
"But I can't complain. The players have given me absolutely everything, we are up against a good side and are looking forward to it.
"We've reviewed our recovery strategy and done something different this time, and we hope to get the benefits this Sunday.
"From the last Sunday games after the Thursday we haven't been at our best, and West Ham are in good form so we need to be very good."
For Newcastle, Fabricio Coloccini will start serving the first of his three-match suspension after his red card against Liverpool, while Cheick Tiote sits out the third of his own three-match suspension. James Perch, along with long-term absentees Ryan Taylor, Dan Gosling and Haris Vuckic, is also ruled out.
For the Hammers, James Collins and James Tomkins are set for fitness tests before deciding their availability, while Guy Demel remains doubtful.
