NBA Standings and Schedule: Golden State Warriors Undefeated 23-0, Cavaliers, Miami Heat Lead East, Spurs, Bulls, Pacers, Thunder, Hawks Top Teams

The Golden State Warriors remain undefeated at 23-0 atop the NBA standings as the schedule picks up for Wednesday, while the Spurs, Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Thunder are next in the overall standings. The Cavs and Heat are the top teams in the East along with the Bulls, Pacers and Hawks, while the Spurs, Thunder and Mavericks are next behind the Warriors.

The Warriors are currently in the middle of a seven game road trip and after winning over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, the team has the Boston Celtics on the road Friday for their next game. The team is 23-0 on the season and there is a chance the team could continue winning into Christmas Day, which is when they have a date with the Cleveland Cavaliers in an NBA finals rematch.

The Warriors have won over the Jazz, Hornets, Raptors, Nets and Pacers on this road trip and coming up the team has the Celtics and Bucks in back to back games before returning home. If the team stays undefeated until that time, the Warriors will have to win three more games against the Suns, Bucks and Jazz to come into the Christmas Day game without a loss.

The conference standings heading into Wednesday's games has the Cleveland Cavaliers leading the Eastern Conference over the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls. The Heat come in at a game back, while the Bulls, Pacers and Hornets are next in the standings. The Raptors, Hawks and Orlando Magic are next and those teams would be in the playoffs if they started today. The rest of the east standings has the Celtics, Pistons, Wizards, Knicks, Bucks and Nets next ahead of the 1-21 Sixers.

The Western Conference has the Warriors leading with a 23-0 record over the San Antonio Spurs, who have a nice gap over the Oklahoma City Thunder with an 18-4 record. Oklahoma City and Dallas are next in the standings, while the Clippers are fifth ahead of the Grizzlies. The Jazz and the Rockets currently are in the seventh and eighth spots and would make the playoffs if they started today. The rest of the west standings has the Suns, Timberwolves, Trail Blazers, Nuggets, Kings Pelicans and Lakers, who are 3-18.

The Raptors are leading the Atlantic division over the Celtics and Knicks, while the Nets and 76ers are way out of the mix. The Cavaliers have a lead over the Bulls and Pacers in the Central division, while the Pistons and Bucks are next in the standings. Miami is leading the Southeast over Charlotte and Atlanta, while the Magic and Wizards are next in the standings.

The Thunder are first in the Northwest division over the Jazz, Timberwolves, Blazers and Nuggets, while the Warriors have a 10 game lead over the Clippers in the Pacific. The Clippers are in ahead of the Suns, Kings and Lakers in the division standings. The Spurs lead the Southwest over the Mavericks, Grizzlies, Rockets and Pelicans leading into Wednesday.
