The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to poach another crucial piece of an NFC East team however this time it is the New York Giants who may be hurting in the end.
The Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo is currently the front runner for the Eagles head coaching position after Chip Kelly's departure. Kelly left a mess for whoever comes behind him however that should not deter hungry candidates.
McAdoo is actually from Pennsylvania so being the head coach of the Eagles might be something McAdoo is highly interested in. McAdoo was also a member of Tom Coughlin's staff and with him getting the boot McAdoo could be ready for a fresh start somewhere else. McAdoo being the front runner could also have something to do with Tom Coughlin's meeting with the Eagles recently, who knows a recommendation from Coughlin could go a long way.
If McAdoo does leave this leaves a gigantic hole in the coaching staff. The Giants seem to be in a semi rebuilding phase as it stands, despite competing for a conference title the Giants fell short thanks to a lack of a decent secondary or pass rush. The defensive woes of this team is something that the next head coach will need to address.
