Pro Bowl 2016 Roster and Schedule: Gary Barnidge, Jameis Winston, Eli Manning, TY Hilton Replace Rob Gronkowski, Carson Palmer, Larry Fitzgerald

The Pro Bowl is set for Sunday, January 31 from Aloha Stadium and the roster just received a number of new players, including Gary Barnidge, Jameis Winston, Eli Manning, TY Hilton and Richie Incognito.

The playoffs and the Super Bowl always bring in some new additions to the Pro Bowl roster, as some players have to drop out with injuries and also because they are playing in the Super Bowl. Larry Fitzgerald is one of those players and he will be out for the Pro Bowl and now colts wideout TY Hilton will replace him on the roster. The Colts added three players to the roster with Hilton, Mike Adams and Vontae Davis getting added.

Carson Palmer had a Pro Bowl season, but he will not play in the game after dealing with a finger injury in the playoffs. Palmer will be replaced on the roster by Teddy Bridgewater and he is the latest QB to come off after Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers and Ben Roethlisberger. Eli Manning, Derek Carr, Jameis Winston and Tyrod Taylor also join Russell Wilson on the roster as the replacement players.

Winston was added to the roster with Tom Brady not going to the game and he will be the first Tampa Bay rookie to make it since Doug Martin did it a few years ago. The Buccaneers also have Gerald McCoy, Lavonte David and Logan Mankins in the Pro Bowl. Bridgewater, Harrison Smith and Anthony Barr were added to the roster and they join teammates Adrian Peterson and Everson Griffen on the roster for the game.

Gary Barnidge will be going to his first Pro Bowl in place of Rob Gronkowski, who will not play after dealing with some injuries during the postseason. Barnidge had one of the best receptions of the year and put up strong numbers with 79 receptions, 1,043 receiving yards and nine receiving touchdowns. Barnidge joins teammates Alex Mack and Joe Thomas on the roster.
