NFL Free Agent Preview Offense: Sam Bradford, Alshon Jeffery, Chris Ivory, Travis Benjamin, Lamar Miller, Doug Martin, Brock Osweiler Top Targets?

The NFL free agent class for 2016 has some notable names hitting the market, including players like Sam Bradford, Alshon Jeffery, Chris Ivory, Travis Benjamin, Lamar Miller, Doug Martin, Brock Osweiler, Doug Martin, LeGarrette Blount, Rishard Matthews and Jermaine Kearse.

Sam Bradford is likely going to be one of the top targeted players on the market, as there are not too many quarterback options in free agency this offseason. Bradford headlines a class that includes Kirk Cousins, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Chase Daniel and Matt Hasselbeck and that could get a number of teams interested in his services. The Eagles reportedly will try and bring back Bradford and could potentially use the franchise tag on him, but so far that is not considered a certainty.

Bradford had a strong finish to the season for the Eagles and there is a chance that he could be chased by teams like the Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, Jets and San Francisco 49ers in free agency. The Browns likely will go after a quarterback in the draft, but Bradford also could be an option to come in and start over Josh McCown and the rookie (if the Etem drafts one).

The Texans are reportedly looking to find more consistency at the position and they also could be a fit for Bradford. Brock Osweiler is also hitting the market, but the Broncos are expected to retain him in free agency. The team may have Peyton Manning back for another season, but Osweiler will be a priority, as the team sees potential in him as a future starter. Travis Benjamin is coming off of a career season and should be a target for teams, although the Browns likely will try and re-sign him. Alshon Jeffery is the top WR on the market, but the Bears are expected to retain him on a new contract or with the franchise tag if needed.

The running back position is deep with players this offseason hitting free agency, including names like Chris Ivory, Lamar Miller, LeGarrette Blount, Doug Martin and Matt Forte. Players like Marshawn Lynch and Arian Foster also could end up in the mix if they are released by their respective teams. Martin is expected to stay with the Buccaneers on a new deal, but Miller and Forte could end up elsewhere this offseason. Chris Ivory also could end up signing with a new team, as the Jets may bring back Bilal Powell instead.

Forte is not expected to return to the Bears after the team did not engage in contract talks with the running back last year. Miller is reportedly interested in returning to the dolphins, but also added that "scheme and fit" will be important to him wherever he signs. Miller is likely going to be a top target for teams on the market and with Miami projected to be over the salary cap as things stand now, the team could let him walk over paying him a big contract. Miller does not have much wear and tear on his body and could be a target for the Cowboys or the 49ers in free agency.
