AC Milan will look to continue their march up the table with a victory over third from bottom club Pescara in their Serie A game Sunday.
Milan, after a slow start, have improved quite a bit off late, and Massimiliano Allegri will expect nothing short of three points from his side, who lie in seventh on 24 points from 16 matches.
"We've played well with intensity both physical and mental in the last few matches, but we still have to improve," Allegri said. "Tomorrow (Sunday) will be a tough match as Pescara are doing very well at the moment.
"All games start 0-0 and tomorrow we'll have to put in a good performance and win through that. We have to get to the match against Roma with as little points as possible separating us from the teams ahead.
Allegri has fond memories of Pescara, who are 18th on 14 points, having begun his career at the club. "Pescara was the start of my career as a player," he said. "I was there for four years and I have great memories. I'm very attached to the club and I'm happy that they're back in Serie A and they have some good players."
The Milan manager believes his side are improving with every game. "The team is growing and I believe that from here until the end of the season, we'll grow even more," he added. "I don't want to talk about league positions at the end of the season as there's still a lot of football to be played.
"We'll try and win tomorrow (Sunday) and then we'll be preparing for the game against Roma. We needed a player like Pazzini. I think that both him and Cassano are doing well. I have almost all my players fit available, except for Bonera and Pato, they're all available.
"Zapata played well on Thursday. He has physical and technical quality. He's good moving fast and in one-on-one situations. He has nothing to envy any of the other defenders. I'm happy that he's at the club and when he takes to the field, I feel serene."
