Joe Montana's Son Nick Transferring to Tulane University

It was announced this past Friday (January 4) that Joe Montana's son, Nick Montana, was transferring over to Tulane University where he will attempt to become their starting quarterback.

No surprise there, Nick, just like his father Joe who played 13 seasons for the San Francisco 49ers and two with the Kansas City Chiefs, is a quarterback.

Nick spent a year in Washington playing for the Huskies and this past year he played for Mount San Antonio College. He helped the team finish the year with an 11-1 record as he threw for 2,652 yards, 22 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Nick finished with 203 completions out of 321 pass attempts to posting a passing percentage of 63. His run game was pretty decent as he totaled 187 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

He will look to improve a Tulane team that finished the 2012-2013 season with a 2-10 record. At one point, Tulane lost five straight games and it was at the beginning of the season. The year didn't end so well either as they finished it with four consecutive losses.

They lacked offense all year long and will depend on Nick to get things rolling on offense.

Nick has two years remaining in his college career and will look to make the most out of it and maybe join his dad Joe in the NFL Hall of Fame someday.
