Maria Sharapova, ranked No. 2 in  Women's Singles, faces former top tennis player Venus Williams in the third round of the 2013 Australian Open. The game sets off a little after 7 p.m. ET and we have a link to the live stream.

Williams is still relevant enough to be ranked in the tournament. She is currently sitting at No. 25 in Women's Singles. Her dominance in the sport of tennis took a sudden stop in 2008 when she last won a grand small at Wimbledon. Since then, she's been a runner up and made it to the quarterfinals and semis a few times. 

So far in 2013, Williams has had dynamic performances in the Australian Open. She defeated Galina Voskoboeva in two sets and then fought a little harder against Alize Cornet in the second round. 

For Sharapova, the tournament has been a breeze. It seems like the top ranked females are working on keeping their opponents scoreless. Sharapova has yet to allow a point at the Australian Open. 

She faced the Russian Olga Puchkova in the first round and left her with double goose eggs.  Misaki Doi then had the unfortunate luck of facing the red hot Sharapova and she received the same fate. It was a quick match that saw Sharapova win all 12 games. 

Sharapova will surely not keep Williams scoreless, but it will be interesting to see how far Williams takes the No. 2 ranked player.
