Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Philadelphia Flyers Live Stream: NHL Season Opener for Atlantic Division Rivals at 3 p.m. ET

The Pittsburgh Penguins take on the Philadelphia Flyers at 3 p.m. ET and we have a live stream for those who can't watch the game from home. It's the beginning of the 2012-2013 season and all games are urgent.

Making this matchup a bit more special, the Penguins and Flyers are Atlantic rivials. In 2011-2012, both squads finished in second and third place respectively. The Penguins were 51-25 finishing five points ahead of the Flyers and grabbing the second best record in the Eastern Conference and third overall in the NHL.

This might be a high scoring game as both squads were known for their offense.

The Penguins were also the most potent offense in the NHL scoring 282 goals in the season. The closest team to the Penguins in scoring were the Boston Bruins with 269 goals.

For the Flyers, they scored 264 goals placing them right behind the Bruins. They finished last season with a 47-26.

Both teams will be competing against the New York Rangers for the top of the Atlantic Division. As mentioned above, the season is short, so any team that gets hot early could finish taking the division.
