The Daytona 500 on FOX was a big ratings success, but rapper 50 Cent had a big failure before the start of the race when he was being interviewed by TV host Erin Andrews and tried to kiss her on the cheek.
Andrews found 50 Cent in the main put area before the race started while searching for Danica Patrick and the rapper tried a number of times to kiss her on the cheek, but the host turned away each time.
Many on the internet noticed the move, including @RichaedDeitsch from SI.com, who wrote: "Now that 50 Cent has kissed Erin Andrews, I need Helen Mirren to make out with Tom Rinaldi."
Later 50 himself tweeted: "Hey I wanted to kiss her so I did"
The 37-year-old rapper was one of many celebrities at the race, including Ray Lewis, who was the honorary starter, and James Franco, who was the grand marshal on Sunday.
