Liverpool are planning a double swoop for Paris Saint-Germain pair Jeremy Menez and Kevin Gameiro, while Valencia midfielder Sofiane Feghouli is also on Rendan Rodgers' radar.
The Reds are expected to bring in a few new faces in the summer as Rodgers continues to rebuild a Liverpool team capable of competing with the best in both the English Premier League and Europe, and reports in France suggest the manager could start with the PSG pair.
Gameiro was linked with a move to Anfield in January, but Liverpool reportedly failed in a loan bid for the French international.
However, the Reds are ready to renew their interest in the 25-year-old, who has seen playing time hard to come by since the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, although the Swede himself has been linked with a move away in the summer.
"I want to play football every time, I am no different to any player," Gameiro said.
"It is difficult to sit on the bench but all big clubs in Europe have the same problems, you can't play every game but being involved is good.
"I always wanted to play abroad. At the end of the season, hopefully after we win the title, we can decide about my future."
Menez has recently been consigned to the bench on a couple of occasions after reportedly having a falling out with PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti and could leave the capital club at the end of the season.
Rodgers is reportedly a keen admirer of the former Roma man and is seriously considering making a firm bid when the transfer window opens in July.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are also keeping track of impressive Valencia playmaker Feghouli, who has also been linked with moves to Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United.
The 23-year-old has been one of the standout players for Los Che this season and has previously admitted he would be open to a move to the English Premier League, despite only recently signing a long-term contract.
Were Liverpool to make a move, they are likely to face competition from several clubs and Valencia are not going to let their asset leave on the cheap either.
