University of Texas receiver Kendall Sanders got himself into some trouble over the weekend as he was arrested on a drunk driving charge.
According to CBS Sports, the receiver was arrested after being stopped by Texas A&M University police early Saturday morning before 3 am and that he was on College Station street, which is not part of the school property but runs through campus. Records show that he was booked after 5 am and released on bond later on in the morning.
Longhorns coach Mack Brown released a statement and said that the school would monitor the situation for Sanders and that they will "do what's best for the university, Kendall and the team." Sanders has the chance to be a big part of the offense as a sophomore and could be the third receiver for Brown.
