The 2013 NBA Season is coming to a close. On Thursday, there are only two games to be played, so there is no excuse to miss out on any of these matchups. Check out where to find out game time, TV schedule and channels presenting the game.
The action tips off with the New York Knicks vs. the Chicago Bulls. Now, this might seem like a pedestrian matchup between two Eastern Conference teams that are set to make the playoffs. However, a lot is riding on this matchup: First, the schedule information:
Game Time: 8 p.m. ET
TV- Where to Watch: TNT, MSG, The Score
The Knicks are currently on a 13-game winning streak. The Bulls already stopped a historic streak after beating the Miami Heat at the end of March. Do they have enough to make it another one? Also, for the Bulls, a loss endangers their dropping to the sixth seed, which then gives them trouble advancing further into the playoffs since they will face the Indiana Pacers.
Next up after this game watch the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors. Here's the info:
Game Time: 10:30 p.m. ET
TV- Where to Watch: TNT
Isn't great, you can enjoy to NBA games without having to flip the channel.
What's the importance of this game? Simply Western Conference seeding on the line. The Thunder are battling to remain in first place after over taking No. 1 following a San Antonio Spurs lose Wednesday evening. The season series is split 2-2, but the Thunder own the better conference record: 36-13 to 32-16.
Then there's the Warriors who are fighting to remain in sixth place as the Houston Rockets are breathing down their necks just a game behind in the standings. Not that remaining in sixth places gives them an easier opponent as they are set to face the Denver Nuggets, but it's always better to finish in the higher seed
