Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Live Stream: Watch Game 5 Online Western Conference First Round Elimination at 9:30 PM ET

The Houston Rockets have nothing else to do but win in the playoffs or they will head home and the team is looking to do just that on Wednesday night, as they travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder in Game 5 in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

The Thunder will be without Russell Westbrook after he was injured in Game 2 and the point guard will be absent for the rest of the playoffs after tearing a meniscus in his knee after colliding with Patrick Beverley. The Rockets rookie point guard will be enemy number one when the series shifts back to OKC, as it was his hip that hit Westbrook's knee on a questionable play that could knock the chances of the Thunder making it back to the NBA finals for the second straight year. While Beverley said it was not his intention to hurt Westbrook, the video showed that the point guard was pulling up for a timeout when Beverley went in for the steal.

Injured point guards are an issue on both teams, as Jeremy Lin will likely miss Game 5 and if he plays it will be in a bench role after suffering a chest bruise earlier in the series. Lin got his first taste of the playoffs after missing out last season with the Knicks while hurt, but his injury made him ineffective and now the Rockets will likely have to win Game 5 without him to stay alive in the playoffs.

Houston has been shooting well of late from 3-point range and the team came close to making comebacks in Games 2 and 3 before falling each time and the Rockets will rely on the scoring touch of Harden and Chandler Parsons on Wednesday to help keep Kevin Durant from dominating. Parsons is coming off of his best game of the series after dropping 27 points and 10 rebounds in the Game 4 105-103 victory and he will try to keep that going on Wednesday.

Harden spent the week dealing with flu symptoms and despite feeling sick before Game 5, coach Kevin McHale said that the star forward will play and Harden echoed that sentiment. Harden would love to try and get his former OKC team on their heels with a win in Game 5, as a Game 6 in Houston could turn to the Rockets favor, leaving Game 7 as the last chance to advance. While no team has ever come back from that deficit, just pushing the Thunder to seven games would be a huge accomplishment for the team
