NFL Rumors and News: Josh Cribbs Healthy and Could Sign With Teams As Arizona Cardinals Out, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oakland Raiders and New York Giants Possible?

Josh Cribbs has been on the market for quite a while and after coming close to signing with the Arizona Cardinals, the former Cleveland Browns return man is finally healthy and ready to join a roster, but the tough part will be getting to a team that hasn't filled his need already following the NFL draft in April.

The Cardinals were ready to sign him awhile back, but after some health issues came up, they decided not to and after drafting Tyrann Mathieu in the draft, the team may not need to bring in another return man. According to NFL.com, Cribbs has a number of new suitors now that he is healthy from the torn meniscus in his knee and while some reports say the Browns could bring him back, that is unlikely. Some options include the New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Oakland Raiders and New York Giants, who all could use depth in the return game.

Cribbs can also play some wide receiver, but his best work comes as a return man. Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said the team likely would not sign him and with the Browns out as well, Cribbs will need to look elsewhere. The Patriots signed Leon Washington while waiting on Cribbs and after that he could head to Tampa Bay, where Greg Schiano loves hard nosed special teams. The Giants could also use return help as David Wilson works as more of a running back and the team also lost Domenik Hixon to the Carolina Panthers.

Cribbs will likely find a team before minicamps start in June and if he can prove to teams that he is fully healthy he will find work somewhere since he is so solid in the return game.
