2013 French Open Draw: Novak Djokovic Bracket, Paired with David Goffin in First Round and All Possible Matchups

May 24, 2013 10:43 AM EDT

Novak Djokovic takes a shot at winning the 2013 French Open, but before he can even begin to talk about the finals, he has to get by the first round. Here's what his draw looks like after his placement in the 2013 French Open bracket.

First Round: David Goffin
The second-year player out of Belgium might not do as good as he did in 2012 as he is set to play against tennis' No. 1. Djokovic made it to the final last year, while Goffin missed the quarterfinals by just one round. Goffin is a fresh face and comes into the tournament at the age of 22.

Second Round: Beginners
Djokovic is expected to get out of the first round. Awaiting him in the second round will be either Ivan Dodig or Guido Pella, who has yet to play in the French Open in his six-year career. Dodig has never passed the first round of the French Open. Pella has only won two matches as a pro. He is 23 years old and has some time to improve.

Third Round: One Ranked Player
Gregor DiMitrov is the first possible ranked player Djokovic meets in the first three rounds. DiMitrov comes into the tournament ranked 26. He's been around since 2008 and hasn't had much success in grand slam tournaments. DiMitrov has been bounced in either the first or the second rounds at all of his majors and he's played 10 in the past four years.

Following the third round, it gets tougher deciphering who Djokovic could face later on, but here are the remaining ranked player left in Djokovic's bracket as he makes his way to the quarterfinals.

Mikhail Youzhny #29
John Isner #19
Philipp Kohlschreiber #16
Tommy Haas #12
Janko Tipsarevic
