Aaron Hernandez Rumors: Report Has Odin Lloyd Shot Multiple Times As New England Patriots Tight End Tried To Cover Up Homicide?

Jun 21, 2013 12:17 PM EDT

The New England Patriots are in panic mode despite being quiet about the Aaron Hernandez murder case and now the New England Patriots tight end has bigger issues, as an arrest warrant has been filed for him for obstruction of justice.

According to Pro Football Talk, sources say that his arrest could come Friday and other reports about the murder have the tight end spotted with Odin Lloyd hours before he was killed. The article says that Lloyd was shot multiple times and sources within law enforcement say that rumors that Hernandez may have moved the body after he was killed at his home are not substantiated and evidence points to that Lloyd was killed where he was found.

Video shows Lloyd with Hernandez and friends earlier in the night and there are also reports that neighbors heard gun shots early in the morning. Hernandez is facing charges and has not been ruled out as a suspect and he got himself into trouble by possibly intentionally damaging his home security system and cell phone and he also had a cleaning crew come to his house.

His past has been brought into question as well as has associates he had with friends from his hometown in Connecticut as well as when he was with the Gators.

The reports from neighbors may be conflicting, as the place where Lloyd's body was found was close, but not that close to the neighborhood. The time of the shooting may explain the travelling noise and now police must continue to investigate what happened. Hernandez's future with the team is now in slight doubt, as more information could be uncovered about his involvement and possible cover-up.

"He was killed where they found the body," an unnamed law enforcement official told the Globe.  "He was shot multiple times."
