Apparently just the name Aaron Hernandez is trouble these days, as two men were arrested after a fight in a Hartford diner after one called out "Hey Aaron Hernandez" to D.J., the brother of the arrested star.
According to Pro Football Talk, the fight broke out in a diner and afterwards the men said that they were with his brother D.J. Alberto Lopez, 30, of Blakeslee Street in Bristol; Jesus Agosto, 36, of Rocky Hill Avenue in New Britain and Thomas Miller, 30, of Iowa Street in Torrington were all charged with assault and criminal mischief for the fight and now will later appear in court. Three people were injured overall and now the Hernandez name can spark a crime in the Northeast.
Police said it may have been DJ, Aaron's brother in the diner and that was who was shouted at. Someone mistook the identity or made a joke said the police report and the fight broke out late night after 3:15 AM on Saturday.
From the Courant in Hartford: Someone shouted "Hey, Aaron Hernandez" after seeing a man the person thought looked like the former Patriots star and Bristol native who was charged with murder last week, police said. A fight broke out, and two of the three people who were arrested as a result told police that they had been sitting with DJ Hernandez, Aaron Hernandez's brother.
