Novak Djokovic (1) will meet Andy Murray (2) as the Men's Singles bracket at 2013 Wimbledon has come down to its last two players. It's a bit ironic that after a ton of big time eliminations in the tournament, the top seeded players are still alive and competing for the title. Here's a look at their routes to the Men's Singles Finals as only one will walk out with the win.
Novak Djokovic
Heading into his semifinal match, Djokovic had not dropped a set at Wimbledon. Juan Martin Del Potro exposed Djokovic, giving the Serb a challenge and pushing their match to five sets. Djokovic faced quality players the entire tournament. In the first round, Djokovic met Florian Mayer, followed by Bobby Reynolds. In the third set he faced Jeremy Chardy (28). Tommy Haas (13) followed in the fourth round and in the quarters, Thomas Berdych (13) was eliminated by the No. 1 seed.
Andy Murray
Similar to Djokovic, as the No. 2 seed Murray saw great players throughout the tournament. He didn't drop a set against Benjamin Becker, Yen-Hsun Lu, Tommy Robredo (32) or Mikhail Youzhny (20). Murray was in a lot of trouble when he met Francisco Verdasco in the quarterfinals, dropping the first two set and falling just a set away from elimination. Eventually, Murray put away the final three sets with relative ease 6-1, 6-1 and 7-5. If he had this much trouble against Verdasco, who wasn't even seeded, many wondered how the Scot would fair against a Jerzy Janowicz who has the deadliest ace in the game. Murray had no trouble with Janowicz after the first set and in fact, Murray won the ace battle 20-9.
Djokovic and Murray have met 18 times in the past. Djokovic owns the head-to-head 11-7.
