The Yankees are travelling to Chicago for a three-game series against the White Sox on Monday night and with Alex Rodriguez set to take the field for the team for the first time all season, the teams are expecting the game to be high rated on television and the actual game to be close to a sellout.

According to Yahoo Sports, tickets started flying when it was announced that A-Rod would likely be joining the team after his rehab assignment and now that the suspensions have been handed down even more tickets are being sold. Rodriguez got the longest ban of any player at 211 games after the commissioner Bud Selig said he interfered with the investigation and he has said that he will appeal the ban.

The players union has said that they will defend him as he appeals and while his suspension was the longest, he will be allowed to play as he appeals. Some of the top named players that were suspended include Nelson Cruz of the Texas Rangers, Everth Cabrera of the San Diego Padres and Jhonny Peralta of the Detroit Tigers and now many of their futures are in doubt after the suspensions.

"Rodriguez's discipline under the Basic Agreement is for attempting to cover-up his violations of the program by engaging in a course of conduct intended to obstruct and frustrate the Office of the Commissioner's investigation," Selig said in the statement. "Under the terms of the Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program, Rodriguez's suspension will be stayed until the completion of his appeal if Rodriguez files a grievance challenging his discipline," Selig said.
