New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson is dealing with a scary situation, as reports have come out that his girlfriend Gia Allemand is in the hospital in critical condition due to a medical emergency.
According to Pro Basketball Talk, Allemand is in the hospital with an undisclosed medical emergency at University Hospital in New Orleans and she is in serious condition. She was rushed to the hospital on Monday and the report says that she was on the show 'The Bachelor' back in 2010 and now she could be in serious condition in the hospital.

Anderson is expected to be an integral part of the Pelicans after the team traded for Jrue Holiday and Tyreke Evans and the team expects to contend for the playoffs with Anthony Davis.

According to Fox Sports Southwest:
"The New Orleans Pelicans star 3-point shooter Ryan Anderson is at the bedside of his girlfriend, reality TV star Gia Allemand, who's hospitalized in critical condition.
Allemand is being treated at University Hospital in New Orleans for a "serious emergency medical event, the details of which are currently not known," according to her publicist.
Allemand was rushed to University Hospital Monday, August 12."
