The Golden State Warriors were one of the surprise teams in the NBA last season after they made the playoffs and defeated the Denver Nuggets in a first round upset and now the team is looking to add more talent to the roster in the offseason, as they are expected to sign Stephen Curry's brother Seth to a deal.
According to Bleacher Report, the Warriors will sign Curry to a non-guaranteed contract for this coming training camp and there is a chance he could stick with the team in the preseason. The report says that the 23-year-old Curry did not get drafted this past April and he has been looking to sign with a team since the summer. Curry has a similar skill set to his brother and he also has the advantage of playing at Duke for three seasons with head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Curry is a very good three point shooter and the likely would be his niche with the team.
Curry's brother showed last season that he is one of the best shooters and pure scorers in the league and having his brother Seth in fold could help that as well. Last season with Duke he scored nearly 18 points and hit over 43 percent of his three point shots, which was five points better than his brother in his final season at Davidson. Last year in the playoffs Curry was excellent against the Nuggets and adding his brother to the mix could make things even more successful for the Warriors with names like Klay Thompson, David Lee and Andrew Bogut in the fold.
