The Georgia Bulldogs are ready to start their gauntlet SEC part of the schedule next week with a home matchup against LSU, but before that the team will play North Texas on Saturday and the game comes after a win over number six South Carolina 41-30 two weeks ago, giving the team plenty of time to think about their opening loss against Clemson and how it will affect them this season.
The Bulldogs looked good behind Aaron Murray in the opening loss against Clemson, but quarterback Tajh Boyd was too good and the Tigers ended up getting the win and after getting past NC State, the team could be poised for a national title run. Georgia has a tough run after the North Texas game and the team is coming in after Murray threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns against the Gamecocks in the win last week. Murray has been the primary reason for Georgia's success and any chance of making a BCS run will be on his shoulders this season.

Murray completed over 73 percent of his passes in the game and did not turn the ball over and now he has passed for four touchdowns and zero interceptions this season. Murray was solid in the game against the Gamecocks, but his one pick was crucial and while he threw for over 320 yards and only missed on nine of 29 passes, it wasn't good enough for the Bulldogs to come out on top. Georgia finished just short of getting into the race last season after losing to Alabama in the SEC title game and while they won't get a chance at revenge at the Crimson Tide, if no one goes undefeated and Georgia can win out, chances are they will be in the conversation at the end.
The team plays its next huge game at home against number six LSU on Saturday at 3:30 and that game will be huge for both teams, as it could derail their season with a second loss this early. Murray could be in the Heisman conversation with a big game here and after that the team plays another tough road game on the road against Tennessee, which is never an easy thing with 100,000 people going crazy on Saturday. The Volunteers were beat bad by Oregon, but that was expected and this game could have implications in the SEC as well.
The Bulldogs then will be home against Missouri before playing on the road against Vanderbilt and then that sets up another huge game with an SEC opponent, as the Florida Gators are next on the schedule. The game could end up being the deciding matchup in the division and with the Gators looking better on defense, it'll be a nice challenge for Murray. The Gators have had some good moments so far this season and then Georgia will play the always deadly Appalachian State at home. The final stretch of the season is tough with two of three road games to end the year.
Georgia plays on the road against the once national champions but now doormats in Auburn, then they host Kentucky before playing the final game against rival Georgia Tech and if they can take care of business at the end of the season and if they can get past the Gators, the Bulldogs could once again face off against Alabama in the SEC championship and that would be one of the most anticipated games of the season.
