Want to watch the bout? Get TV info with channel and bout time info as both boxers should present a hell of a fight.

Fight Time: 10:15 p.m. ET

TV Channel-Where to Watch?: HBO

Chavez Jr., the son of the most famous boxer in Mexico, will enter the ring for the first time in over year. The last time Chavez Jr. graced us with his power on the ring, he almost came back to defeat Sergio Martinez in the 12th round after being outboxed in the first 11 rounds of their bout. The Argentine put a beating on the younger Chavez Jr., ultimately proving he could take punches, but dish out a lot of pain as well.

Vera enters this bout as the older, but less experienced fighter. He's 23-6-0 in his career, winning 14 of his victories via the knockout. However, Vera has tasted defeat in the worst way, getting knocked out twice in his six losses. Vera will be searching for his fifth straight victory. He recently defeated Donatas Bondorovas, Serhiy Dzinziruk, Sergio Mora and Taronze Washington.

In his last lost bout, Vera faced Andy Lee, one of the guys Chavez Jr. outmatched and beat in seven rounds. Vera survived all 10 rounds, but he did hit the canvas in the second round, something Chavez Jr. never did in his bout against Lee.

Chavez Jr. will try to get back on the win column, which is a new experience for the 27-year-old. At 46-1-1, it will be interesting to see how the son of a legend rebounds after a tough loss.
