The Knicks are facing a lot of questions entering the 2013 season. Not many can see them having the same year after finishing secon in the Eastern Conference behind the Miami Heat. The Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers are healthy and the Brooklyn Nets are expected to be one of the highest scoring teams in the league this upcoming season.

Amar'e Stoudemire is injured again and the five-year contract the Knicks gave the center/forward is looking like a waste. Stoudemire produced when he was healthy and was able to attract players to New York, but they have not advanced past the second round in the last three years. Carmelo Anthony rumors of playing for the Los Angeles Lakers swirled heavily after the conclusion of the season.

Though the Knicks have all of these questions hanging over them in 2013, at least they know they have a team that can wind up in the playoffs. One team not going to the playoffs; the Boston Celtics. The Nets traded for their top players, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, leaving Rajon Rondo solo in Boston. He is the face of the franchise, but he might be the only face worth watching during the regular season as the point guard went from playing in a competitive team to running a team a bums.

Maybe management wants to get Rondo help next year or they have players developing that will be dangerous alongside Rondo? The fact is, not many expected the Celtics to make noise in 2013-2014. However, expect Rondo to do his best and always play motivated basketball. Oh, and he has to remember that Kris Humphries is now on his team.

Watch the Knicks and Celtics play live basketball as the Knicks are one of two teams that have yet to play ball in the Eastern Conference.
