The South Carolina Gamecocks are going through some stuff with Jadeveon Clowney and his ribs, but despite any of those issues, the team is 4-1 under the old ball coach and while they are better than the 3-3 Razorbacks, Arkansas comes in with two SEC losses and the Gamecocks need to make sure they improve to 3-1 in the conference when they visit the always hostile Razorbacks Stadium on Saturday in a game that will be on ESPN3 at 12:21 pm.
The team opened the season with a nice 27-10 victory over North Carolina in a rivalry game before losing their first SEC matchup to then number 11 Georgia and then the team was home for a win over Vandy before playing on the road against UCF and for fans that game was rough, as it was much closer than anyone expected, as was the matchup last week against Kentucky and now starting with Arkansas the team hits a very tough stretch with three road games in a row and they have been dealing with a number of injuries this season and they will need all hands on deck to win on Saturday.

The Gamecocks have a tough stretch coming up with road games against the Razorbacks followed by a matchup against Tennessee in a game that will be on ESPN and playing in Knoxville is no easy feat, while Missouri will be next and that is the first ranked opponent for the Gamecocks since playing against Georgia earlier in the season and starts a stretch of playing three over six games to finish the season. The team travels to play the Tigers and then will have the rest of their games at home in their friendly confines and while those games will be tough, at least they will be home for the Gamecocks.
The team plays Miss State at home and then has a huge game against Florida that could help decide the SEC and could have national implications for both and then after playing Coastal Carolina is the biggest game of the season, as number three Clemson comes to town and that could be a huge game, as Clemson should be in the national title picture and South Carolina could knock them off. The game against the Razorbacks is on ESPN3 at 12:21 on Saturday and the SEC matchup could be one of the best of the day.
