Boston Red Sox Play Again? Schedule with Start Time, TV and Radio Info for World Series Game 6

Oct 29, 2013 01:46 PM EDT

Missing your Boston Red Sox? When do they play their next game? No worries, check out the Red Sox's 2013 World Series schedule as they face have a chance to win the championship in Game 6. Here is the info with TV channel info, radio coverage and game time. Before we get to that, let's look at the pitching matchups.

This should be that matchup that truly separates Michael Wacha from the men and the boys. He is 4-0 in the 2013 Postseason, but this is the biggest start he might make in his entire career. Mind you, this is his first season in the big leagues, but nothing is bigger than sending your team to Game 7 of the World Series. Winning Game 7 would be a hell of an accomplishment, but that is not the present situation. The Cardinals need to win Game 6 in order to remain alive and the season once again hangs on Wacha's arm.

The scope is bigger in the World Series. Wacha defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NLDs to keep the Cardinals in contention. However, we are talking about a 22-year-old in the World Series. It will definitely be a challenge.

One man familiar with World Series heroics on the mound is the Red Sox's Game 6 starter, John Lackey. Lackey, who already pitched an inning of baseball on Sunday, will see action again three days after making a relief appearance. So far in this series, Lackey has pitched 7.1 innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits and six strikeouts. His one inning on Sunday was perfect. He won Game 7 in 2002 after helping the Los Angeles Angels win a championship. He only went five innings and allowed one earned run in that game. It will be Lackey's biggest start in a Red sox uniform.

Lackey has been considered a waste of money, a bad investment on behalf of the Red Sox front office. However, he could put all that talk to rest with a dynamic start on Wednesday. If Lackey struggles, all hope is not lost. Felix Doubront rested on Monday and he has been dominant. After Jon Lester's Game 5 start, the entire Red Sox bullpen got some rest, which is good news. Only Koji Uehara came in to convert a four-out save.

Here is the info for tomorrow's game.
