The college football weekend is back with a full slate of games on the schedule and on Saturday the Auburn Tigers will try and keep their successful season moving in the right direction and they will put that to the test for an SEC matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks and the game will be at Razorback Stadium at 6:00 pm and airing on ESPN2 and streaming on WatchESPN.
The Tigers have rebounded after a couple tough years and now they are ranked number 11 in the nation and are 7-1 on the season heading into the back stretch and this year they are doing well in the division, going 3-1 so far in the conference, while the Razorbacks are still looking for their first win in the SEC. Auburn has won four straight games since losing to LSU and they will look to continue that against Arkansas on Saturday. Quarterback Nick Marshall is having a solid season and he has passed for over 1,100 yards with six touchdowns and the team has gotten some solid play from their receivers and running backs as well, including in the victory last week against Florida Atlantic and the weekend before against Texas A&M and Johnny Manziel.

Auburn started the season with three straight victories and they will still need some luck to get things done in the West division and they have the chance to do it, as they will play against Alabama later in the season to finish off the schedule and they are currently 8-0 and tops in the division at 5-0. The Tigers have the chance to play a factor in the SEC with games against Tennessee and Georgia and those games will be tough tests before the team plays against the Crimson Tide. The east has Missouri on top with South Carolina and Florida next and other teams have suffered tough losses, including Tennessee and the Aggies along with LSU.
The Tigers are ranked 96th in the nation with 200 passing yards per game and the team is rushing very well this season with over 300 yards per game and that is good enough for fifth in the nation. The team is averaging nearly 40 points per game and are allowing just 20 and they look like they will be a factor if they can get past this next stretch of games. The team pulled out a close win against the Aggies and also defeated a ranked team in Ole Miss, but the LSU loss hurts and now the team has the Alabama Crimson Tide to deal with come the end of November. Gus Malzahn has done a good job turning the program now and they are looking to extend their recent success with another win on Saturday.
Arkansas is coming off of a terrible loss to Alabama with a 52-0 shutout and they will try and rebound at home against the Tigers and it will be a tough test, as the team has now lost five in a row, including the defeat last week. The team opened with three straight wins to go 3-0, but the team has not had a victory since back in September and now they will try to get things right despite allowing over 30 points per game this season while scoring just 20. The team has scored 17 combined points over the past three games and the one thing they do best is rush the ball, as they are ranked 29th in the nation with over 200 yards per game on the ground. The team finishes up the season with a tough stretch, including Ole Miss, Miss State and LSU, who are ranked 13th in the nation and that will be a tough way to finish things off.
