The Cincinnati Bengals and the San Diego Chargers are both looking to make playoff runs in the AFC conference and on Sunday the two teams will face off at Qualcomm Stadium and the matchup is big for both sides and starts up at 4:25 pm on CBS on TV and the game will be streaming online and on the radio from NFL.com and has Philip Rivers taking on Andy Dalton.
The Bengals come into the game after a big win against the Cleveland Browns and now they face off against the Chargers before playing the Indianapolis Colts and the Bengals want to continue playing well, while the Chargers are coming into the game after a win against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals got beat out in passing yards, rushing yards and receiving yards as leaders for the game and that still led to a win for the team and now they face off against a surprising Chargers squad that is looking to make a playoff run in the crowded AFC wild card race. The Bengals come into the matchup ranking sixth in the league in passing yards allowed per game and in the top 10 in rushing yards allowed per game and San Diego will have to break through that to win on Sunday. The Bengals offense has been back on track since losing two games in a row and now the team is looking to start a streak following their bye in Week 12.

The Bengals have a tough schedule down the stretch with two division games as well as matchups against teams that could make the playoffs in the Chargers and the Colts and then the team has to travel to play the Pittsburgh Steelers and that game is huge for the division and then the team finishes with two games at home against the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens. The Super Bowl champions have gotten back on track and so have the Steelers, making every game in the AFC North very crucial and that could mean those final games are very important for the division and the AFC playoff race.
The Chargers played a very exciting game with the Chiefs last week and Rivers threw for nearly 400 yards and the team led the game with Keenan Allen and his 124 receiving yards and now the team plays against a solid defense in the Bengals. The Chargers come into the game ranked fourth in the NFL in passing yards per game and that will be their strength on Sunday and after playing against the Bengals the team will host the New York Giants in California and the back stretch is important and the Chargers could establish themselves in the standings. The team had lost three games in a row before rebounding against the Chiefs and now the team is looking to get into a two game winning streak heading into the back stretch. The Chargers face off against the Chiefs again later in the season in Week 17 and the team heads to play the Broncos on the road after hosting the Giants and after that the team plays the Raiders.
