The fantasy football weekend got started up on Thursday with the Houston Texans and Jaguars and heading into Week 14, some top RB names to keep an eye on includes Reggie Bush and Rashad Jennings and some replacement options for those backs if needed are Joique Bell and Knowshon Moreno heading into Sunday.
Bush has been one of the most productive backs in football this season, but some injury and fumbling issues could push him aside this weekend and that makes Bell a solid option. Jennings has been banged up, but he appears to be ready to come back this weekend, while Knowshon Moreno also is expected to be fine on Sunday when the Broncos play against the Titans, as he was dealing with an ankle injury suffered in last week's game, limiting him to just 18 yards. These running backs all are very solid options and this season have been some of the most productive in football.
Bush is coming into the week with some question marks, as he did not practice on Thursday and that's never a good sign, after dealing with a calf injury and he also has been dealing with fumbling issues over the past few games. Bush has been very productive this season, including last week against the Green Bay Packers, but his fumbling is an issue and the team may keep that in mind when they play against the Eagles on Sunday, meaning Joique Bell could be a better starting option. Bush is coming off of a game that saw him rush for 117 yards and a touchdown on Thanksgiving and he also added five catches for 65 yards and this season he now has over 1,000 total yards and is one of the leaders in receptions and yards for running backs.
Bell has done his part in place of Bush when needed and he had 94 yards rushing and a touchdown on Thursday along with three catches for 34 yards and he has been a valuable part of the passing game for Matthew Stafford this season. He has rushed for over 400 yards and has added 34 catches for 378 yards and depending on how Bush feels Sunday, he could be the feature back for the Lions. He had 10 rushes last week and 22 touches overall and he could be a factor against the Eagles.
Jennings has played very well this season, but after suffering a concussion on Thursday, he has still not been cleared to play and he will be one that fantasy owners should watch out for on Sunday, as he could be out and Marcel Reece could be in with Darren McFadden likely out again. Jennings had 35 yards and two touchdowns against the Cowboys and the team loves the way he runs, but he hasn't been cleared yet. Moreno is a solid option as long as he is healthy and while he had 18 yards last week, he had 224 yards the week before.
