The fantasy football week is coming to a close on Monday night football in Week 14 and the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys are playing at Soldier Field and the players watch out for to start and sit for the matchup includes names like Brandon Marshall, Dez Bryant, Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte, Josh McCown, DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo.
Marshall and Jeffery have been the most dynamic duo in football this season and Marshall comes in a bit banged up, but both are ready to START and they are solid options for fantasy owners looking for a win. Josh McCown will be playing for Jay Cutler again and he is a START option with the way the Bears offense is rolling and so is Matt Forte, as he has been excellent this season under new coach Marc Trestman. The Bears defense has not been stout against the pass, making Tony Romo and Dez Bryant START options and DeMarco Murray can be a boom or bust guy, but hell, start him too.
Jeffery comes into the game after having one of the best days in football history last week, making 12 catches for 249 yards and scoring two touchdowns and he also had an 80-yard catch in there on 15 targets. He set a Bears record and took the lead on the team in yards over Brandon Marshall with 1,109 on the season to go with 70 catches and five scores and he has three touchdowns over the past five games, including a 114 yards performance against the Lions that was also impressive. Jeffery has been a perfect complement for Marshall and he now ranks in the top 10 in the league in yards and yards per game.
Marshall comes in after being banged up and he should be much better this week and he now has over 100 yards in three of his last five games, scoring four touchdowns over that same span and he comes in after a down game with four catches for 45 yards, but in the previous game he had 10 catches on 12 targets for 117 yards and one touchdown and that is the type of game he is looking for on Monday. Marshall is dealing with a quad injury, but he should be all good to go on Monday.
Dez Bryant is dealing with a back injury and he is probable on the injury list but he looks fine to play and he is coming off of a nice game against Oakland with seven catches for 61 yards and a touchdown and now he gets the chance to face the Bears. He hasn't gone over 100 yards since October, but it's not because Tony Romo isn't trying, as he has targeted Bryant 25 times in the past two games and he now is on pace to go over 1,100 yards and 10 scores for the season.
McCown, Forte and Romo are all solid starts, as this game is shaping up to be an offensive game for both teams. The Bears and Cowboys are weak against the pass and that likely will be the focus for both sides on MNF.
