The Florida State Seminoles and the Auburn Tigers are playing in the BCS national championship game in Monday night and the matchup is from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and has two of the best offensive teams in NCAA color football playing and it starts up at 8:30 pm ET on ESPN and will be streaming on the WatchESPN website.
Florida State has Jameis Winston coming in as the Heisman winner this season at quarterback, while Auburn has finalist Tre Mason and QB Nick Marshall as their primary players on offense. Mason was fantastic in the SEC championship against Missouri, rushing for over 300 yards and scoring four touchdowns in a performance that likely got him voted to New York City for the Heisman ceremony and while he lost to Winston last month, it could be Mason who has the last laugh on Monday night.
Winston comes in with plenty of depth on offense, as he has Rashad Greene, Kelvin Benjamin and Nick O'Leary to toss to and while Nick Marshall has Tre Mason, the Tigers are not known for passing the ball and this will come down to whether the Seminoles can stop Auburn from running it and if the Tigers can stop Florida State from passing it. This matchup is the final one for the BCS and many could argue that this time it was done right and now the game will go down with Winston looking to win the national championship the same year that he won his Heisman.
The Seminoles come into the game undefeated on the season and they are the top ranked team in the nation in points scored per game with over 50 per contest and the team is allowing just 10 points per game and this could be a fantastic matchup.
