Tim Tebow Rumors: Jacksonville Jaguars or Cleveland Browns To Draft Johnny Manziel? Texas A&M QB Can Serve Same Purpose As ESPN Analyst For Team and Fans

Former Patriots and Jets quarterback Tim Tebow is now going to work as an ESPN analyst while pursuing an NFL career and while fans of the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars have been clamoring for their teams to sign the QB, this year in the draft those fans may end up with someone better, as Johnny Manziel is coming out of college and has declared for the draft.

Fans of both teams have been coming out in the media over the past year or two lobbying for their teams to sign Tebow and now those same fans may end up in a better situation, as both the Browns and Jaguars are potential landing spots for Manziel. While both quarterbacks have similar qualities when it comes to improvising and leading their teams to victories, Manziel is far superior when it comes to passing the ball and he showed that this season by putting an emphasis on that and he ended up with over 4,000 yards while not running the ball as much.

Manziel is a smaller player than Tebow, but for all those fans wanting Tim on their team, Manziel could be an even better substitute, as he is an exciting player that can spark a fan base and his improvisational skills are amazing after what he did the past two years in college. Manziel looks to be the second or third best QB in the draft this season and with the Texans likely taking Teddy Bridgewater, both the Browns and the Jags could opt for Manziel.

According to ESPN.com, Manziel has declared for the draft officially and it comes after he won a Heisman Trophy last year and helped his team to an amazing bowl win against Duke this season. Manziel led his team to a 20-6 record over his two teams and he gained over 10,000 yards total in how two years and gamed over 5,000 yards last season and nearly did it again this year. In just 26 games Manziel has set numerous records and while some feel his size will be an issue in the NFL, the rise of players like RG3 and Russell Wilson makes for a successful chance for Manziel.

"After long discussions with my family, friends, teammates and coaches, I have decided to make myself available for the 2014 NFL draft," Manziel said. "The decision was not an easy one, but we all felt this was the right time to make the next step toward a professional career. My experiences here and the support of this school, coach [Kevin] Sumlin, chancellor [John] Sharp, my teammates, my classmates and Aggie football fans everywhere will be something that I carry with me for the rest of my life. I'll always be an Aggie."
