Cleveland Browns Rumors: Terrelle Pryor Trade To Buffalo Bills Option For Raiders As Minnesota Vikings, Washington Redskins, Texans Interested?

The Oakland Raiders and Terrelle Pryor are at odds and the QB would like a release or a trade in the near future after the Matt Schaub deal went down and teams like the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings all could be interested in making a move for the young and exciting quarterback.

Pryor showed some flashes last season while setting a franchise record for rushing by a quarterback, but he did not take hold of the starting job like Dennis Allen had hoped and he ended up splitting time with Matt McGloin after being named the starter from the first game of the season. According to ESPN.com, Pryor now could be traded before the NFL draft and teams like the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings could be interested in potentially striking a deal.

Pryor needs more time to develop and he could serve as a backup for a number of teams and on top of that, the Raiders could be motivated to make a trade since they have just six picks coming up for the draft. General manager Reggie McKenzie has made some tough moves over the past two years, including trading picks for quarterbacks in Matt Flynn and Schaub, meaning they have two less for the draft coming up and since it's a deep class, the team could be motivated to try and get some picks back.

ESPN.com writes that the Buffalo Bills could be a potential fit and the Eagles looked like an option as well until they signed Mark Sanchez and now that will be off the table. EJ Manuel was banged up last season and Pryor could be a perfect backup, as he has blazing speed and ended up with over 570 yards in 11 games last season and now Buffalo could be a landing spot after they worked out names like Dennis Dixon and Pat White for Doug Marrone last year.

The team has been busy this offseason signing players, including Justin Tuck, LaMarr Woodley and Darren McFadden, but most of it has been one defense and that is why many think the team will go offense with their first round pick. The team picks at number five and names like Sammy Watkins and Mike Evans could be available and the Raiders could opt to snag a receiver to help open up the offense for Schaub with players like Denarius Moore and second year tight end Mychal Rivera. The Raiders have some young talent on offense, but they have not stepped up into bigger roles yet and a trade with Pryor could be the first step in that plan.

The team lost Jacoby Ford and while he was not that much of a productive player, they will need someone like Brice Butler to step up and while they also signed Maurice Jones-Drew, the team may take a running back in the draft if Latavius Murray can't step up into a more active role after being injured last season. The Roger Saffold deal was a bit of an embarrassment, but adding players like Tuck and Austin Howard should improve the team and while Schaub is coming off of a terrible year, the Raiders are shaping up to be better than the 4-12 record they have had the past two seasons.
