The FA Cup final for 2014 will be on the Saturday and Arsenal won over Hull City with a goal in extra time to break a 2-2 score and now the Gunners have won the Football Association trophy for Arsene Wenger and the Gunners now have the title.

The team finished in fourth place and they had 79 points on the season, three back of Chelsea in the standings. Arsenal was leading for most of the year, but fell out towards January.
Manchester city pulled out the victory in the Premier League over Liverpool and they finished two points ahead of the Reds after they were leading most of the second half. The Blues had chances as well before faltering down the stretch and now everyone is looking up at Man City heading into next season. Arsenal had a strong year in the Premier League and they also played very well in the FA Cup competition and now they are into the finals and that is their last game on the schedule for the season.
Arsenal played against Hull on the road and won 3-0 earlier in the season and coming into the matchup they have won against Norwich, West Brom and Newcastle in their finals games after playing Hull and that should give them some momentum. The last EPL match they lost was against Everton in early April and they made it into the FA Cup on a dramatic penalty kick shootout with Wigan back on April 12 and now a month later they are into the final.
Arsenal was impressive this year and they won against Liverpool, Coventry City and Tottenham Hotspur in their last FA Cup rounds. The Gunners conceded just one goal during those matches and that was against the Reds and now they have the momentum heading into the final. Arsenal has the firepower to win and that would give Wenger his first trophy in some time and while the team wants the Premier League, the FA Cup will have to do for this season.
