The World Cup 2014 international friendly schedule continues with Hungary and Denmark playing on Thursday and the matchup starts at 2:15 pm ET and the match comes from the Bozsik József Stadion in Budapest and the two teams come in for the soccer match after being eliminated for the World Cup and now they have an international friendly football match together.
Denmark will later play Sweden in another friendly match and that comes just a couple weeks before the World Cup begins and will be at Parken Stadion. The team comes in after missing out in qualifying and they had a nice run and previously lost their last friendly to England. Hungary also will play against Albania and Kazakhstan for friendly matches just a week before the world Cup as teams prepare to get ready for the tournament and they will be at Ferenc Puskas Stadion
The World cup starts in June and nations are getting very excited to head to Brazil and final roster moves are starting to get made and the bigger teams have more matches coming up to prepare for the tournament. The tournament starts on June 12 and has Brazil opening up against Croatia and then the group matches continue in order from Group A on and teams like Australia, Chile, Spain and Mexico will be playing over the first two days of the tournament.
The first weekend picks up with some great matchups, as England and Italy will be playing in their opening match for Group D, while the Costa Rican team plays against Uruguay and Colombia matches up with Greece and those games will be on ESPN and ABC over the schedule. The United States is in Group G aka the Group of Death and they open with a very tough match against Ghana and that is the team that has eliminated the US from the last two tournaments and they will be looking to get a win to start group play.
The teams in that group will have their work cut out for them, as Ghana is tough and so is the US, while Portugal and Germany are the other two teams in the group. Things will be fun to watch for Jurgen Klinsmann when he faces his old German team and the US comes in with very high expectations, as this is one of the best teams they have ever put together for the World Cup.
