Aaron Hernandez was indicted and arraigned on first degree murder charges this week and his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins was in the court for the arraignment and was wearing a black suit and jacket and now she may visit her fiance in jail following the charges, while his mother Terri Hernandez has been helping raise baby daughter Avielle Janelle while he is locked up.

Hernandez now faces three total murder charges along with various other weapons charges stretched along the two cases and the murder incidents will be tried separately. According to ESPN.com, Hernandez was arraigned for separate double murder charges on top of the Odin Lloyd murder charges he is facing from last summer. This latest case actually occurred before that murder, as Hernandez stands accused of killing two men after getting into an incident at a nightclub and performing a drive by shooting.

Hernandez pled not guilty to the murder charges and that was in line with what he did in the Lloyd case as well. Hernandez and Lloyd were connected through his fiance, as Lloyd was dating the sister of Jenkins and now police are trying to find connections between the two crimes and there could be a motive. Hernandez and Lloyd may have been in dispute at the time of his death, but police have been unable to find an official motive for the crime and now some believe that Hernandez may have killed Lloyd due to knowledge about this previous double murder and that he was trying to cover it up.

According to the Daily Beast, Jenkins has been spending time with Hernandez's mother Terri as she deals with legal issues and she has been helping raise the baby girl while Hernandez is locked up. Hernandez likely will be in jail even if he gets off of the Odin Lloyd murder, as he is also dealing with numerous gun charges against him. Hernandez is facing life in prison for the original murders and now he is facing even more charges and a civil suit in the double murder and his defense will have a hard time figure out what to do next. The team needs to defend Hernandez separately on both cases and finding a good jury will be tough as well with the media attention.

Hernandez was cut by the Patriots after he was arrested and the team had just signed him to an extension the year before and now the murders could mean that he signed when he was a murderer. The team obviously had no idea, but when he signed that contract, if it turns out to be true, it came after this double murder and he got away with it until he was arrested for the Lloyd crime and that could be what keeps him in jail. Hernandez was once again denied bail at this arraignment and the state feels like it has strong evidence against him.
