The Brazil and Panama teams are playing live on the World Cup international friendly schedule Tuesday ahead of the tournament in a couple weeks and it starts up with a live stream on beIN Sport at 3 pm ET and comes from the Estádio Serra Dourada and has the host nation looking to get strong heading into the tournament, as they kick things off in less than 10 days for the worldwide tourney.
Brazil comes in after a dominating year last year and they have a great group set in Group A, as they were put in a favorable situation since they are the home team. Brazil doesn't really need that though, as they have players like Ramires and David Luiz coming in and they are very deep as they try and win the tournament as the host nation and this comes after their performance in South Africa in 2010. The team has not been in action in quite some time, as they have played just one game in seven months, although that was a five goal shutout of South Africa in March and now they will get active heading into the tournament.
Brazil plays against Panama on Tuesday and that is one of two games this week, as they also will play against Serbia in Sao Paulo for the next fiddly match and that is the last action for Luiz Felipe Scolari's side until the tournament begins. Things kick off next week on Thursday, June 12 with the first game and that has Croatia as the first opponent in Group A for Brazil and that will be at Sao Paulo as well. The team comes in after a Confederations Cup win last year and Luiz is looking forward to the tournament. Luiz had another very solid year and now he will be moving from Chelsea to Paris St Germain next week once the transfer window is up and going.
Ramires comes into the starting lineup on Tuesday for the team, as he will take the place of Paulinho, who is out while dealing with an injury. Thiago Silva, Paulinho and Fernandinho all will be out for the match as the team tries to get fully healthy and that brings Dante into the fold as well now for the matchup. The schedule for Brazil in the World Cup has the team taking on VCroatia for the first match and that will be at the main venue on ESPN at the Arena Corinthians and then the team has a huge match with Mexico and that will be at the Estádio Castelao.
The final matchup is on ESPN2 and that will be against Cameroon at the Estadio Nacional Mané Garrincha. Mexico owes the United States a big debt for getting in, as they won a game against Honduras in late fashion and that kept the Mexican team alive for a playoff. The El Tri team won over New Zealand and qualified and got in, while the US now is in the toughest group of all. The group of death is group G and Germany, Ghana, Portugal and the United States compiles that group and that has a very tough draw for all four.
