Mexico and Bosnia-Herzegovina are playing on the World Cup international friendly schedule with a warm-up on Tuesday night and the TV coverage and live stream comes from ESPN and ESPN2 on the WatchESPN website from Chicago at Soldier Field and El Tri goes for a nice performance against a fellow Brazil bound team and this game starts up at 9:30 pm ET ahead of a final matchup before the tournament begins.
Team Mexico is dealing with a major injury, as they will be without Luis Montes after he broke his leg in the last game and that will be a big hurdle for El Tri to get over as they navigate this tournament. Injuries can always be tough in the World Cup since it's just a limited window and some players have already been knocked out, including Theo Walcott months ago for England, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez are coming in injured and they look like they will play, but now Montes will be out.
The injury to Montes came a few minutes after he scored a great goal for Mexico in their friendly with Ecuador and that is very sad, as he showed why he is on the team with his great goal and now he will be out for the tournament just days before it was set to begin. The injury happened to Montes when he hit Ecuador's Segundo Castillo and both players ended up injured and now manager Miguel Herrera will have to find a way to keep the team together and to replace Montes in the lineup.
Mexico opens against Cameroon and now they will be without Montes in the matchup against Bosnia and in the World Cup and the team still has two more matchups before playing in Brazil. The team comes in after playing against Israel and Ecuador and after Bosnia they play against Portugal and while Ronaldo could play, he may not be in the lineup for that game.
Mexico had a wild ride to the tournament in the first place, as they were nearly eliminated in qualifying but got a saving grace from the team they hate the most. The team needed the United States to defeat Panama to get the team into the World Cup and it worked and now they are in after winning a playoff against New Zealand. The matchup against the All Blacks was not close and that vaulted Mexico in and now they have a tough group to deal with, as they are in the same group as the home nation of Brazil and that could make getting out of that round tough.
Mexico is in Group A and that is a good draw for the team, as they have Croatia, Brazil and Cameroon and while that will be tough to get out of, it is not the group of death with the US, Portugal, Germany and Ghana.

Mexico opens with Cameroon after Brazil opens with Croatia for the first matches and that game will be at Estadio das Dunas and then the team finishes the group stage with Croatia and that will be at the Arena Pernambuco. The group matchups should be very tough this time and Spain and Brazil come in over Germany and Argentina as teams that are the favorites to win the World Cup.
