Jun 30, 2014 11:53 AM EDT

The World Cup 2014 live coverage from Brazil is back streaming with France and Nigeria in the round of 16 and the match is live online from ESPN and WatchESPN from Brasilia and the Spanish language coverage is on Univision and ESPN Deportes as the two teams meet up and the action starts at 12 pm ET as the FIFA Brazil tournament continues on Monday with two more massive games.

France comes into the matchup as the favored team and they have Karim Benzema leading the way and he has been one of the best players in this tournament and if he has another solid game, he could be in line as the hero for the French side. Benzema scored aplenty in the group stage and now he is looking to keep that going against a Nigerian team that is solid, but did not play all that great in the group stages. France was one of the highest scoring teams in the group matchups and they had eight goals in their first two games and if they get that type of scoring now, they could be a wild card moving forward.

France has the chance to win it all here, as they have put the terrible performance of 201 behind them and they come in after winning their group in easy fashion over Switzerland, Honduras and Ecuador in the group stages. Karim Benzema opened things up with multiple goals in the first game and he scored in the second matchup as France had eight goals over those two games before having a scoreless draw in the final matchup. The team exploded for five goals against the Swiss and now that team is through as well and France has the chance to make it into the quarterfinals round.

The Nigeria goalie is one of the best in the tournament and he leads all goalies with 18 saves so far and the team had two clean sheets in this tournament. Nigeria is the top team from Africa and they are now facing a strong French side after scoring a ton in the first two games and they nearly won in 2006 and now they are trying to get back to the final again. The first two matches of the round of 16 were great and that continued on Sunday. The quarters has Brazil, Costa Rica, Netherlands and Colombia and that means a South American team will be going to the semis no matter what.

The United States is one of the most surprising teams in the knockout stage and they have been getting some worldwide fans while playing in Brazil and now they are set to play against Belgium in the round of 16. The Us made it through the group of death after getting a win, draw and a loss and Cristiano Ronaldo helped kill the team and save them in two different games and now the Americans have the chance to shock the world if they can make it through to the next stage.

Brazil and Colombia are already through on this side of the bracket and the other teams are Germany and Algeria and that will be the later game.
