The MLB standings 2014 in the AL and NL has division leaders in the Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, Washington Nationals, Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, Giants and LA Dodgers, while the wild card standings in the American League and National League has the Los Angeles Angels, Seattle Mariners and a massive bunch of teams in the NL with division leaders and teams like the Reds and Pirates in the mix.

The AL East is still up for grabs this season with the Orioles leading the Yankee sand the Toronto Blue Jays, while the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox are still hanging around as well. The teams are over seven games out, but the way this division has been this season everyone is still alive. The Tigers are running away with the AL Central once again and they have a five game lead on the Indians and they also lead the Royals and White Sox.

The Oakland Athletics have some competition now in the AL West with the Los Angeles Angels closing in after a hot streak and now they are just a game back. The Seattle Mariners have been strong as well and they are eight games back and out of the division race and in the second wild card. The AL West has been the strongest division this season and they have three teams in current playoff position.

The National League has the Braves and the Nationals battling in the NL East and they are tied right now, while the Mets are eight games out. The Central is very tight and competitive and has the Brewers and Cardinals at the top, while the Pirates and Reds are next in line. The Giants and Dodgers are at the top of the AL west and they are 11 ahead of the San Diego Padres.

The wild card in the AL has the Angels in first with the Mariners in the second spot, while the Yankees, Indians, Blue Jays and Royals still in the mix. The NL has the tied division winners along with the Pirates and Reds chasing and this should be quite the race at the end of the season.
