Raiders Fantasy Football Rumors: Mychal Rivera, Denarius Moore, Greg Little, James Jones, Rod Streater Top Draft Options?

The Oakland Raiders have made a ton of moves this offseason and now in fantasy football for 2014, names like Mychal Rivera, Denarius Moore, Greg Little, James Jones, Rod Streater and Darren McFadden could be the top options from the Raiders, as the team now has Matt Schaub and he is an upgrade over Terrelle Pryor from 2013 at QB.

The Oakland Raiders had a rough year in 2013, but the 2014 season is looking up, as the franchise spent a ton of money and they also traded Terrelle Pryor for value. The team has a number of players and rookies that could be breakout candidates last year and players like Latavius Murray, Mychal Rivera, Brice Butler, Nick Kasa, Greg Little, James Jones, Rod Streater and McFadden will be ones to watch.

The Raiders went 4-12 for the second year in a row and that means they had a top five pick for general manager Reggie McKenzie and after taking DJ Hayden last season, the team went with Khalil Mack after also signing a number of new players. The team has a young roster and a number of talented players and at number five they opted for Mack, while players like Jadeveon Clowney, Johnny Manziel, Sammy Watkins, Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater were also taken in the first round.

McKenzie and head coach Dennis Allen need to decide what direction they want to take the team in and after drafting a number of promising prospects in 2013, there is a chance one of them can step up. Pryor and McGloin did not take hold of the starting job last season now Schaub is in after the team traded Pryor to the Seahawks earlier this offseason.

The team went offense for their draft last season despite picking Hayden with their first pick and finished things out with Nick Kasa and Mychal Rivera at tight end, Latavius Murray at running back and Brice Butler at wide receiver. Murray's biggest issue will be staying healthy, while Rivera has all the physical skills to be a breakout player next season on the Raiders.

Murray was picked in the sixth round last season with the 181st overall pick and he did not have a productive season, as he was injured and ended up with playing only in the preseason and had 29 yards on eight carries and that was his only action before coming down with an ankle injury.

Rivera was taken three picks later in the sixth round and he could be a huge breakout this season, as he is physically gifted and played in all 16 games, getting three starts and he finished with 38 catches for 407 yards and four touchdowns. Kasa could be an option as well, but Rivera looks to be the next starter for the team and he averaged over 10 yards per catch last season. McGloin could have a bounce back year if he is given another shot, while Butler could have an increased role.
