Manchester City and Stoke City are playing on the EPL schedule on Saturday as English Premier League action picks up for the Barclays and the matchup is from the Etihad Stadium as Man City tries to stay hot this season and the game is live on TV from the NBC Sports Network and has a stream from the NBCSN Live Extra website as the defending champs come in looking to win again.

Man City is one of the leaders at the top of the table and they have won their first two matches and they are dealing with some injuries, including to Sergio Aguero, who could miss the match but is expected to play. The team last played against Liverpool and now they have a home matchup with Stoke and they are also dealing with some injuries and the team has not had much luck in Manchester over time, with City or United.

Stoke comes in having lost its last six at City since coming into the league in 2008 and now they have the chance to try and rectify that, but it will be very tough to do so. The team has not even been at full strength yet and they won over Newcastle and then against Liverpool and now Manuel Pellegrini expects his team to perform well again. Man City comes in having won seven straight against Stoke at home and the last six in EPL play and they haven't given up a goal in those matchups and they haven't won at Man City in a very long time.

The team has won seven straight in the EPL and they have also been high scoring, putting in at least two goals in each game over their last 10 in the league. The team was the highest scoring team in the league last year and they also were the highest scoring at home, scoring more at the Etihad than many teams did all season. Stoke has not kept a clean sheet in quite some time on the road and they were one of the worst away teams last season.

The team fell to Arsenal in the FA Cup match and then they won over Newcastle away before taking down Liverpool and now they have Stoke before another game against Arsenal. The team will have Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stage and that comes ahead of a big game against Chelsea and they will be before games with Roma in the UCL, Hull City as well as Tottenham. The spurs are at the top of the table and they are tied on points with Chelsea, Man City and Swansea and now the Citizens are trying to keep things going.
