The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants are playing live on the MLB schedule in an NL West game on Saturday night and this has big playoff implications and starts up from AT&T Park in California as North and South do battle with Zack Greinke and Tim Hudson on the mound facing off as these teams battle for the division and the wild card in the National League.
The Giants have won 10 straight games at home and they come in after beating the Dodgers and now they are just one game back in the division standings. The Dodgers have been leading the division for quite some time and that came after the Giants started off with a big lead before slumping. Things are getting very tight now and the wild card could also be a battle for whatever team doesn't end up first in the west.
Madison Bumgarner won his 18th game in the matchup on Friday and now Hudson faces Greinke before Clayton Kershaw goes up against the Giants on Sunday. The Dodgers have been on top for the entire summer and now they hit the Giants in the middle of a strong run with the team winning 13 of the last 16 games and now they have to face two of the best pitchers in baseball.
