The MLB playoffs schedule for the 2014 postseason starts at the end of September before moving into October and the wild card games are the first round to start up before moving towards the World Series and the TV coverage will be handled by the MLB Network, TBS, ESPN and FOX for the various series in the American League and National League.
The wild card games in the AL and NL will start the postseason and the first matchup will be on September 30 for the American League one-game playoff. TBS has the AL wild card game, while the National League wild card matchup will be on ESPN and that is on October 1 ahead of the start of the division series in the AL and AL.
The postseason this year is going to be epic and teams like the Angels and Cardinals have stormed back in their division races and should have some major momentum going forward this year in the playoffs.
