Bayern Munich and CSKA Moscow are playing on the UEFA Champions League schedule on Tuesday and the matchup will be from Khimki Arena in Russia and starts up at 2:45 pm ET and streaming on the Fox Soccer 2Go website and it will be a strange atmosphere for the German champs, as they will be playing in front of an empty stadium.
Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola said he isn't too happy about playing in front of no crowd, but that his players will deal with it and that he hopes he doesn't need them to do it again anytime soon. The team is back in first place in Bundesliga and they have continued to dominate the German league and they are the team to beat among the ones at the top. The team comes in after another couple wins and they also had a win in their last Champions League match against Manchester City and that was at home.
On the Champions League schedule the team has Moscow and then against Roma and they also have return matches later on with Man City and the group. The team is first in their home league and they won the title here before losing it and that came after the team made it to the semis last year. Real Madrid comes back as the UCL champions and they have a tough group set as well.
The Russian Champions have to play in front of an empty stadium due to past issues with racism and chanting last season and that means the stadium will basically be empty. Bayern was disappointed that their own fans will have to miss out and it comes as they have been playing well all over and they travel as well as anyone in the Champions League. The Russian side likely has more coming, as they also had some issues with the crowd in the game against Roma that saw the team lose the group E match by four goals.
Bayern is stacked as usual with Arjen Robben, Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski in the lineup and they will be looking to start off fast in this match. The team is favored here and they should be the team to get out of the group stage with Man City.
In other action, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are playing live on the UEFA Champions League schedule on Tuesday. The match from Parc des Princes has PSG hosting this high profile group game with Lionel Messi and both sides will be looking to get a good result ahead of the matchup at Barca and this starts at 2:45 pm ET on FOX and streaming live from the Fox Soccer 2Go website. Paris St-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for the game.
