Manchester City and Roma are playing live on the UEFA Champions League schedule on Tuesday and the matchup for Group E is live from Etihad Stadium starting at 2:45 pm ET and the matchup is a big one for Man City and the TV coverage is from Fox Sports 1 with the live stream from the Fox Soccer 2Go website as manager Manuel Pellegrini brings on Joe Hart to start in net.
Manchester City has been playing well of late and they are coming into things at third on the English Premier League table after their performance over the weekend. Man City comes into this year as the winners of the EPL from last season and they came into the Champions League after finishing on top of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in the Barclays standings. The team comes in after a win against Hull City and they will have Joe Hart in net for the match and after this they play against Aston Villa away.
The team lost to Bayern Munich in their first Champions League matchup in the group and after that they pulled off a draw with Chelsea before playing and beating Hull City. Man City has a match against Tottenham coming up and after that they will play CSKA Moscow in their next group matchup before playing West Ham and then against Manchester United. Hart did not play in the Capital One Cup match for Man City and now he is coming in to start here against Roma and he said that he is motivated to play well on Tuesday after sitting out the last set in the EPL.
Man City has been playing well of late and they have been moving up the Premier League standings and now they have this competition to deal with as well. The team is five back of Chelsea and now they are the second highest scoring team in the league behind the Blues. Chelsea leads Southampton and Man City, while the Citizens are in the standings ahead of Arsenal. The schedule into the holidays is tough and they have Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stage as well, but that game will be at home next time and that could be big.
This is one of the toughest groups in the tournament with Roma, Bayern, Moscow and Man City and now the English side will be looking to take care of business at home. Roma comes in playing well too and they have won their first five matches and they are leading the Serie A standings tied with Juventus. Chelsea is also playing on Tuesday, while Arsenal will be in action on Wednesday for their matchup and they have a game with Galatasaray.
