The Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers are playing live on the NHL schedule on Saturday night and the matchup is from Rogers Arena and comes after the Canucks won their opening game and the matchup starts past 10 pm ET on CBC and streaming from NHL.com and has two Canada teams playing against each other for the final game of the night.
The Canucks come into the game after winning away at the Flames 4-2 and now they come in to play a home and home with the Oilers. The team is looking to rebound after the season they had last year and they have gotten off to a fast start and through one game they are one of the highest scoring teams in the league. Brad Richardson is coming into the game after scoring two goals and they are first in the division.
The Oilers come into the game after losing to the Flames and that was a 5-2 game and now they have the Canucks on the road before playing against the Los Angeles Kings. The game against the Kings is on the road and the Oilers are looking to get off to a solid start this season after being so bad for so long. The team did not play all that great against the Flames and now they have another Canadian team to deal with.
